About the Role:

We have an exciting new opportunity for a POS leader to join our IT team in a temporary capacity (3-6 months with possible extension)  for 5 days per week.

In this role, you will be developing the system and supporting integrations to ensure that the system is ready to be rolled out across the business. This hands-on role will require the successful candidate to have a clear understanding of the POS system as you’ll be the go-to person to deliver and provide training support.


Duties include; but not limited to

  • Ensuring all POS terminals and configuration is set up effectively.
  • Ensure MSL solutions and providers are on track for integrations
  • Ownership of POS configuration and installation project
  • Be the go-to person for questions, trouble shooting and training on all POS issues.
  • Liaise with departments for Ecommerce solutions
  • Obtain data reports

Required skills and experience

  • Experience with POS systems - Swift POS system advantageous
  • Knowledge of IT structure and cross platform integration workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and with a proven ability to develop user documentation
  • Experience with Windows configuration and Networking
  • Ability to perform in high pressure situations
  • A team player that can also work autonomously
  • Microsoft certification highly desirable
  • Previous experience in using a hospitality point of sale systems ideal
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • A can-do attitude and driven to succeed
  • Can demonstrate solid IT skills including networking, desktop, POS peripherals hardware
  • Exceptional communication and effective project management skills
