About the role:

We are seeking a passionate Community Manager to lead and execute Parramatta League Group’s (PLC) community strategy and expand our social impact in the Western Sydney Community. In this role, you will effectively manage the club’s Community program and allocated funding to maximise the impact on our local community. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and deliver the Club’s Community strategy, including ClubGRANTS program & Social Impact Reporting, Community Connect Paid Volunteer program and Community Brand.
  • Developing relationships with external partners to maximise impact and engagement in the Community.
  • Build the Club’s Community Connect Paid Volunteer program and create volunteering opportunities for PLC staff.
  • Host regular events to promote PLC Groups contribution to the Community and to recognise partners who make an exceptional contribution to the Community.
  • Creating Branded assets and developing an annual communication plan to promote awareness of the PLC Group’s Community contributions.
  • Maintain the Community website, social media and CRM platforms.


About you:

  • Experience working in a community/not-for-profit focused organisation will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Well-developed communication skills, including presentation and public speaking
  • Experience in the Clubs industry and managing the ClubGRANTS program (desirable)
  • Bachelor’s degree (or extensive experience)
  • Willing to occasionally work outside normal hours to attend social functions and events
  • Drivers licence and car
