Cellar Manager

Due to an internal promotion, a fantastic opportunity has opened for a hands-on Cellar Manager to join a tight knit Cellar team. Reporting into the Food & Beverage Manager, you will lead a small team, as well as oversee the efficient operation of our cellar and all stock control.


Duties include, but are not limited to:


  • Supervise and lead a small team; provide effective feedback, training, leadership, support, and growth opportunities to Cellar team members.
  • Overseeing stock levels and replenishment of all outlets to ensure optimum levels.
  • Collaborating with departments and venue managers to plan inventory.
  • Proactively maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable working environment for employees in the Cellar, in accordance with WHS standards and club policies.
  • Carry out Cellar operations tasks, accepting and checking deliveries, changing kegs, beer line cleaning, restocking bars.
  • Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist Stock Controller with ad-hoc duties when required.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.


About you:

  • Experience in a similar leadership role in Cellar Operations/ Logistics/ Warehousing / Head Storemen
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead a small, tight knit team.
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures and WHS standards.
  • Hospitality industry experience (desirable)
  • Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekend work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • RSA & RCG
  • Forklift Licence
